Blockchain is a peer-to-peer-based Distributed Ledger which is a growing list of records called blocks that are linked to each other using cryptography.

Terminologies Explained:

Peer-To-Peer - In a P2P network, the "peers" are computer systems that are connected to each other via the Internet. Files can be shared directly between systems on the network without the need for a central server.

Distributed Ledger - A distributed ledger is a consensually shared and synchronized digital data across multiple sites, institutions, or geographies, accessible by multiple people.

Cryptography - Cryptography is a technique of securing information and communications through use of codes so that only those person for whom the information is intended can understand it and process it. The prefix “crypt” means “hidden” and suffix graphy means “writing”.
